A different relationship with data

For decades, digital services have collected information from consumers and created value from it with limited visibility for the people who generated it. Kickbacks is designed around a different premise: your data, your rules, and—when an approved opportunity exists—your choice to participate.

Consumer data ownership is a product principle, not a claim that every legal system treats personal data as property. In practice, it means giving you meaningful controls and a clear record of how your information is handled.

What control should look like

  • Choose which approved partners may request access.
  • Review the purpose, duration, and data categories before deciding.
  • Revoke a permission and create a visible audit event.
  • See a history of permission changes and approved access.
  • Receive a disclosed reward when an eligible, completed exchange supports one.

What Kickbacks is building

The current product direction centers on identity verification, multi-factor authentication, permission management, auditability, and partner notifications. Advanced biometric and quantum-safe security concepts remain research or roadmap items unless a future product release explicitly verifies them.
